WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 Quick Results Feat. Rhodes vs Styles I Quit Rematch, Priest vs McIntyre and More Title Matches

WWE’s latest big event aired today when the Raw and SmackDown brands presented their latest show WWE Clash at the Castle 2024. The event featured multiple championship matches, including Scotland’s own Drew McIntyre challenging World Heavyweight Champion Damien Priest, three other Scottish Superstars getting championship matches and an I Quit match for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Hype going into the event seemed quite high, with a lot of intrigue surrounding WWE as of late and an extremely wild crowd in Scotland. But who won the matches? Let’s move onto the results!


WWE Clash at the Castle Scotland Results

Below are the Countdown to WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 notes and results for 06/15/24:

  1. Drew McIntyre, World Heavyweight Champion Damien Priest, WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn, Piper Niven with Chelsea Green, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark were seen entering the arena.
  2. Michael Cole, Big E and Kevin Owens hosted the Countdown panel.
  3. Jackie Redmond talked about the Scottish Superstars competing in the PLE and mentioned Insane Championship Wrestling as their humble beginnings.
  4. Cathy Kelley was outside of the Hydro with a crowd of fans.
  5. Drew McIntyre had a deep sit-down interview that aired in two parts during the Countdown. In the first part, he talked about his connection with Scotland and his family, while in the second part he ripped on Michael Cole, talked about the pandemic and touched on Damien Priest.
  6. Chad Gable got interviewed about his Intercontinental Championship match, downplayed Maxxine’s foot injury and lost track of Tozawa.
  7. WWE Women’s Champion Bayley got interviewed about her title defense at the PLE.
  8. Chelsea Green joined the panel after the Bayley vs Niven trailer to support Niven.
  9. Peter Rosenberg narrated a vignette in honor of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.
  10. Jackie Redmond replaced Michael Cole in the second hour.
  11. William Regal talked about the British style of pro wrestling and the Scottish Superstars competing at this event.
  12. Pete Rosenberg gave his predictions for Clash at the Castle.
  13. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles were seen walking backstage towards the stage at the end of the Countdown show.

Below are the WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 results for 06/15/24:

  1. Undisputed WWE Championship I Quit: Cody Rhodes (c) defeated AJ Styles to retain.
  2. WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn defeated Bianca Belair/Jade Cargill (c) and Shayna Baszler/Zoey Stark by pinfall to become the new champions.
  3. WWE Intercontinental Championship: Sami Zayn (c)  defeated Chad Gable by pinfall to retain.
  4. WWE Women’s Championship: Bayley (c) defeated Piper Niven by pinfall to retain.
  5. World Heavyweight Championship: Judgement Day’s Damien Priest (c) defeated Drew McIntyre by pinfall to retain.

Below are other relevant notes pertaining to WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 for 06/15/24:

  • Referee Dan Engler explained the I Quit rules towards the Superstars (and the fans) before the opener started.
  • After the match, Cody Rhodes still whacked AJ Styles with the steel steps despite Styles quitting right as Rhodes was going to hit him.
  • Solo Sikoa joined Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes on the ramp with Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa attacking the champion from behind. Randy Orton and Kevin Owens saved the champion from further harm and brawled Solo and the team formerly known as G.O.D. off of the arena.
  • Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn celebrated with family members and received flowers after their Women’s Tag Title win.
  • Similar to the last PLE, Otis and Maxxine Dupri were goaded into attacking Sami, but never followed through on it. During the finish of the match, Otis carried an injured Maxxine after Chad inadvertently chop blocked her.
  • Cathy Kelley interviewed the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn backstage.
  • Piper Niven’s NXT UK graphics made its return at this event.
  • Chelsea Green got ejected from ringside after excessively touching the referee while complaining about Bayley. She returned later in the match while wearing a mask, but got baseball slided by Bayley.
  • World’s Strongest Man Tom Stoltman was shown in the crowd.
  • Inveraray and District Pipe Band were playing “Scotland The Brave” before Drew McIntyre made his entrance.
  • The other members of Judgement Day were banned from ringside during the main event.
  • During the finish of the main event, the original referee got taken out by mistake. This prompted CM Punk to run in with referee clothes and screw McIntyre out of winning the World Heavyweight Championship.
