ICW Whit’s Occurin’!? Quick Results Feat. All Championships on the Line, Anthony vs Buzzard and Grado Main Eventing

GET TOP STORIES TO YOUR EMAIL:

Scotland’s ICW is one of the four independent promotions currently offered on Peacock/WWE Network, which they started supporting on there since August 2020. ICW has been putting out new shows on a weekly basis since November 2020. ICW features four championships (ICW World Heavyweight, ICW Zero-G, ICW Tag Team and ICW Women’s World Championships). Although it’s not entirely exclusive to Peacock/WWE Network, ICW has their own streaming service, it is the first service the show gets watched on (albeit on-demand). Because it’s a first-run show, we will provide quick results for ICW shows every week until it is no longer first-run.

This week, instead of ICW Fight Club, ICW uploaded their special show to celebrate Clash at the Castle weekend, Whit’s Occurin’!?. On this show, all championships get defended and other special matches will take place. Who walked out of Clash weekend with the gold? Find out below!

Below are the results for ICW Whit’s Occurin’!?:

  1. ICW Zero-G Championship Ladder: Daz Black (c) defeated Luke Kyro to retain.
  2. Andy Wild defeated BT Gunn by pinfall.
  3. The Greedy Souls defeated LJ Cleary and Martin Steers by pinfall.
  4. Insane Rules: TV’s “Jackie Polo“ defeated Jack Jester by pinfall.
  5. ICW Women’s World Championship: Molly Spartan (c) defeated Moxie Malone by pinfall to retain.
  6. ICW Tag Team Championship: Glasgow Grindhouse defeated The Kings of the North (c) by pinfall to become the new champions.
  7. ICW Square Go Briefcase Winner Leyton Buzzard defeated Craig Anthony by pinfall.
  8. ICW World Heavyweight Championship: Kez Evans (c) defeated Grado by submission to retain.

Non-match notes:

  • ICW Zero-G Champion Daz Black came out without his championship and announced his title defense to be a ladder match as the title was already on the ceiling.
  • BT Gunn attacked Andy Wild after his loss.
  • Martin Steers made his ICW and WWE Network/Peacock debut at this event.
  • “Jackie Polo” attempted to attack Jack Jester further after their match, but Sha Samuels made the save for Jester and reunited Kinky Party.
  • Glasgow Grindhouse debuted a new theme.
  • Grado’s entrance got skipped over. This will likely be a habit with him going forward since Grado uses Madonna’s Like A Prayer as his entrance theme.
  • Mark Dallas was the third referee of the main event after the two normal referees were knocked out.
  • After the match, ICW World Heavyweight Champion Kez Evans choked Dallas before Jester made the save. “Jackie Polo” came to join Kez’ side and beat Jester down until Sha Samuels saved Jester again. Grado, Samuels and Jester triple-teamed the World Champion to close the show.

Announced for next week’s ICW Fight Club (09/23/22):

  • No matches announced.

So, what do you think? Did you check out this show yet, and if not, do you intend to? Did you enjoy ICW Whit’s Occurin’!? What was your favorite match and/or segment on the show?
