ICW Fight Club Quick Results (08/06/22) Feat. Women’s Champ in Action, Shug’s Previews and Tag Main Event

GET TOP STORIES TO YOUR EMAIL:

Scotland’s ICW is one of the four independent promotions currently offered on Peacock/WWE Network, which they started supporting on there since August 2020. ICW Fight Club has been putting out new episodes on a weekly basis since November 2020. ICW features four championships (ICW World Heavyweight, ICW Zero-G, ICW Tag Team and ICW Women’s World Championships). Although it’s not entirely exclusive to Peacock/WWE Network, ICW has their own streaming service, it is the first service the show gets watched on (albeit on-demand). Because it’s a first-run show, we will provide quick results for ICW Fight Club every week until it is no longer first-run.

Below are the latest ICW Fight Club results from 08/06/22:

  1. ICW Women’s Champion Molly Spartan defeated Regina Rosendahl by pinfall.
  2. Levi defeated Thatcher Wright by DQ because Aaron Echo attacked Levi during the match.
  3. BT Gunn and Jack Jester defeated Square Go Winner Leyton Buzzard and ICW World Heavyweight Champion Kez Evans by pinfall.

Non-match notes:

  • Regina Rosendahl made her ICW and WWE Network/Peacock debut at this event.
  • After her win, ICW Women’s Champion gave her last words before she faces Session Moth Martina at Shug’s Hoose Party.
  • TV’s “Jackie Polo” had a graphic telling fans to check out social media to know the winner of the Polo Promotions competition.
  • Thatcher Wright declared himself the real winner of his match and declared a minute of silence for Boris Johnson. Chris Bungard interrupted that moment of silence to disparage Wright’s Tory heroes and declared Wright’s match with him to be the last time Wright will wrestle.
  • Multiple segments aired to preview the matches coming at Shug’s Hoose Party.
  • BT Gunn and Leyton Buzzard left/turned on their tag partners during the main event.

Announced for ICW Shug’s Hoose Party 7 Night 1, airing next week (08/13/22):

  • Grado hosts the event
  • King of Insanity: BT Gunn vs Leyton Buzzard
  • ICW Women’s Championship: Molly Spartan (c) vs Session Moth Martina
  • Chris Bungard vs Thatcher Wright
  • ICW Zero-G Championship #1 Contender’s: LJ Cleary vs Luke Kyro vs Theo Doros
  • Aaron Echo vs Levi
  • KoE vs The Young Team
  • Martin Kirby vs Sheikh El Sham
