NXT UK Quick Results (08/04/22) Feat. UK Championship Vacancy, Oliver Carter in Action and Women’s Title Match… Or Not?

Below are the latest WWE NXT UK results for 08/04/22:

  1. Oliver Carter defeated Die Familie’s Rohan Raja by pinfall.
  2. Sha Samuels defeated NXT’s Bodhi Hayward by pinfall.
  3. NXT UK Women’s Championship: Meiko Satomura (c) vs Sarray didn’t happen.
  4. NXT UK Women’s Championship #1 contender’s: Blair Davenport vs Isla Dawn fought to a no-contest after Eliza Alexander and Amale interfered.

Non-match notes:

  • NXT United Kingdom Champion Ilja Dragunov announced that he is vacating the NXT UK Championship due to an ankle injury sustained during last week’s title defense. Sid Scala and Johnny Saint announced that there will be an 8-man championship with competitors and brackets getting announced later in the episode.
  • NXT’s Chase U took a field trip to the UK with a stop at the UK PC. They encounter Sha Samuels with Bodhi Hayward trying to uplift him.
  • Die Familie attacked Oliver Carter after his win until referees came in to pull them apart from Carter.
  • Eliza Alexander challenged Thea Hail. Hail was all ears until Eliza tried to insult Chase U, which Hail instantly shut down.
  • After Teoman talked about his attack on Oliver Carter earlier in the episode, Sam Gradwell interrupted him and challenged him to face him one-on-one without his Familie mates.
  • The NXT UK Championship Tournament has been announced to happen with the first two first round matches happening next week and the other two happening in two weeks. (Mark Andrews vs Joe Coffey and Kenny Williams vs Tyler Bate will happen in two weeks).
  • Blair Davenport crashed the announcement of the NXT UK Women’s Title match happening and implied she attacked both Meiko and Sarray. Amale, Isla Dawn and Eliza Alexander came in wanting to be the next to challenge Meiko, as only Isla and Blair were dressed to compete, Sid Scala announced that they would compete to become Meiko’s next challenger.

Announced for next week on NXT UK (08/11/22):

  • NXT United Kingdom Championship Tournament: Oliver Carter vs Die Familie’s Charlie Dempsey.
  • NXT United Kingdom Championship Tournament: Trent Seven vs Wolfgang.
