We’ve noted that tomorrow, Sunday, December 27th, WWE Network will be airing a new compilation highlighting the “10 Best Matches Of 2020”. Now, we can exclusively bring you the synopsis, the host, and the listing itself. Though, be warned, spoilers are ahead.
Hosting this compilation will be former Intercontinental Champion and NXT commentator, Wade Barrett. Wade returned to the promotion recently, joining Beth Phoenix and Vic Joseph to call the Wednesday night action. Matches featured on the list represent four of the five brands, with stars from RAW, Smackdown, NXT, and NXT UK all showcased while 205 Live is not highlighted. AJ Styles appears on the countdown the most, with Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre closely following his lead. This playlist of sorts will be available on demand at 10 AM EST before streaming on the live feed beginning at 4 PM EST. It appears the special will be included in The Best Of WWE section.

In a year of uncertainty and change, WWE once again delivered a bevy of unforgettable showdowns. These matches are the best of the best from 2020, from a groundbreaking and innovative cinematic match to classic old-school battles decided inside the squared circle.
