WWE Network News and Tidbits: Stone Cold Reminder, NXT Results Meta Note, 205 Live Preview, No New Pick Of The Week

WWE Network

Sometimes, there is WWE Network news that either doesn’t warrant a post of its own, or there simply isn’t time to get to it due to more pressing matters at the time. This can be a release date of a show, something removed from the service, or something else minor. The WWE Network News and Tidbits posts are here to catch multiple little bits of news and inform the readers. If you have any recent news or information we didn’t cover below, feel free to let us know in the comments section!

As a reminder, a new edition of Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions will be airing on the WWE Network this weekend. More specifically, a new edition will air on Sunday, June 28th. Another episode of 205 Live is airing tonight on WWE Network. And this time, the brand will see 205 Live original and The Premiere Athlete Tony Nese take on Isaiah “Swerve” Scott in a match that is weeks in the making.

Isaiah “Swerve” Scott and Tony Nese will have another chance to settle the score tonight on 205 Live, as the two standout Cruiserweights will collide one on one.

Scott and Nese began butting heads when Nese cost “Swerve” an opportunity to advance to the finals of the NXT Cruiserweight Title Tournament. Seemingly undeterred, Scott has been on a roll ever since, pairing up with Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch to win a Six-Man Tag Team Match and earning a singles victory last week. Nese was part of the losing squad in the six-man bout, but he recently scored an impressive one-on-one win against Tyler Breeze.

Will The Premiere Athlete and 205 Live original teach the highflying Scott a lesson, or will the dynamic “Swerve” take down his rival and prove that the purple brand is “Swerve’s” house?

Find out tonight at 10/9 C, streaming on the award-winning WWE Network!

In a meta note, we have for the time being, decided to discontinue the weekly NXT results posts. This comes down to a few factors. Still, we will provide listings for the weekly added episode in this very article.

A brand new episode of the WWE The Bump aired on the WWE Network this past week. This go around, the in-studio guests were once again missing due to the recent outbreak in the world. However, this show did feature the likes of RAW’s Kevin Owens and injured Smackdown star Xavier Woods. The full episode can be seen any time on demand.
