New Series ‘WWE Network Collections Spotlight’ Debuting Next Week, New Ride Along Monday

WWE Network

A new WWE Network series is coming next week! WWE Network Collections Spotlight will be airing on the livestream on Thursday, April 19th at 8 PM EST. While probably obvious, the premise is essentially similar to First Look in that it promotes collections that are available to encourage people to check them out. The obvious difference here is that they’re promoting something already available elsewhere on the service as opposed to First Look which is to encourage you to buy something additional. The first episode will be looking at Alexa Bliss and Andre The Giant. It is currently in a 30 minute slot on the schedule but as always, that doesn’t reveal the actual run time. The show could be 15-20 minutes or a little over 30. The new series doesn’t look to be anything groundbreaking, but it may be interesting nonetheless to some, including those who only check out the livestream.

Below is the WWE Network synopsis for the new series:

“WWE Collections Spotlight offers a sampling of exclusive collections available on WWE Network, featuring Alexa Bliss and Andre The Giant.”

WWE Network

That isn’t the only show airing next week, though. A new episode of WWE Ride Along is set to air on the WWE Network following RAW at 11:06 PM EST on Monday, April 16th. We’ve noted a few times that an episode with the New Day would be coming soon and now we know that this is indeed the episode set to air. Aside from the longest reigning tag team champions, the other car will see the duo of Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable. Both teams represent Smackdown Live.

Below is the WWE Network synopsis for the new episode:

“The New Day turns Ride Along into their own personal pancake party. Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin bond together en route to Dayton.”

Reminder: this isn’t the only WWE Network content arriving next week. Every week we see more than just original programs including but not limited to NXT and 205 Live. Every Sunday we post an article looking at everything promoted for next week on the service, so be sure to keep checking back to WWE Network News.

So, what do you think? Does the new show interest you at all? Or do you always check out collections? And will you check out the upcoming episode of WWE Ride Along? Let us know your thoughts on both shows in the comments section below.
