WWE Network News and Tidbits: New Ride Along Next Week, Collections Updated, WWE 24 News, and More!

WWE Network

Sometimes, there is WWE Network news that either doesn’t warrant a post of its own, or there simply isn’t time to get to it due to more pressing matters at the time. This can be a release date of a show, something removed from the service, or something else minor. The WWE Network News and Tidbits posts are here to catch multiple little bits of news and inform the readers. If you have any recent news or information we didn’t cover below, feel free to let us know in the comments section!

The first story we’ll cover this week is the New To WWE Network collection has been updated, and so has WWE Shorts. WWE Shorts saw two new additions this past week, one being a classic Mr. Perfect Vignette. The other was the Youtube show WWE Playback which saw Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose watch their Hell in a Cell match together while providing random comments or memories. Meanwhile New To WWE Network was updated to reflect some of the new weeklies from the week prior, but did not add anything after Tuesday meaning the NXT, 205 Live, etc. shows are all a week behind in this collection.

WWE Network

WWE 24 has recently produced a new episode. That episode is currently being called WWE 24: Women’s Evolution II and is seemingly built around the recent advances in said women’s evolution, most notably the women’s Royal Rumble match. We currently do not have a confirmed date as to when this special will air, but in the release by WWE it was slotted between RAW’s Elimination Chamber event and Smackdown’s Fastlane event. This doesn’t confirm it will certainly come between that period of time, but it seems likely. This will be the second WWE 24 to air in 2018. Prior to 2017, the series would only see four episodes per year. Last year, the season saw five episodes released.

The following news is very vague, so don’t get too excited. It also may be somewhat obvious, but further confirmation is always nice. WWE.com has updated the preview for collections next month and now indicates that New Classic Content: March 2018 is set to arrive in March. For the most part, the WWE Network always adds a wealth of classic content each month so this may not surprise many, but regardless, it’s nice to see it officially confirmed that the month won’t be skipped.

Of course, we don’t know what is coming yet. There are a lot of different rumors floating around, but we won’t have to wait more than a few more weeks to find out. In the meantime, be sure to let us know what you want to see added by voting in and commenting on our poll.

WWE Ride Along returns to the WWE Network this Monday! Following RAW at 11:06 PM EST on February 12th, another episode of season 3 premieres. And this episode features several stars from the RAW brand. In one car will be The Club, which is the trio of Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, and Finn Balor. The other car? Well, that’s a bit different. That is being presented as the first ever Unplugged Storytellers Experience with Elias.

We recently noted that both of these cars were filmed, along with two others showcasing the Miztourage and the Revival. Does this episode interest you? What about an episode with those other cars? Let us know your thoughts, if you have any, down in the comments section.

The latest WWE Network Pick of the Week features the RAW Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss. Alexa Bliss was recently the recipient of a WWE Network collection titled “Alexa Bliss: Five Feet of Fury”. The set followed major moments and matches from her career thus far including her NXT run, Smackdown run, and her RAW stay thus far. In the video above, Bliss introduced her pick citing a specific match she had with Becky Lynch. After, the Youtube video then shows the highlight introduction clip at the start of the collection.

The final tidbit for this week is that the Flashback Friday collection has been updated once again. The update sees this week’s focus: WWE Wedding Bells. Romance, weddings, and love has been a focus in WWE for decades now. Whether it was the wedding of Macho Man and Elizabeth or Teddy Long and Aksana, love has been a focus for quite some time. This collection highlights some of the many romance themed shows and specials. Below is a list of shows advertised for the WWE Wedding Bells edition of FBF:
